Our company is specialized in the international trade of tropical wood, both in sawn wood and second transformation or finished products. About us

In 2014 we began activity in Angola through the services sector, subsequently and after an extensive and rigorous study over two and a half years, we established synergies and links with the most select companies and sawmills in the wood industry in the country. This is how African Wood Services and Management (SEGESMA) was born, a Spanish company specialized in the marketing of tropical wood from sub-Saharan Africa. From its headquarters in Angola, Segesma manages, from the forests themselves, exploration and logging, as well as the processes of first and second transformation, sawing, drying, classification, quality control, preparation of containers until export and destination. We have an excellent team equipped with both the material and technical capabilities to dedicate itself to production in second transformation, thus achieving the assigned objectives and guaranteeing a product in FAS quality both in long and short terms according to European requirements and opinions. Our sawmills are equipped with the most advanced machinery, such as state-of-the-art molding machines, CNC, paint tuning, gluing machines, finger join presses, thus allowing us to supply the raw material adjusted to the client’s indications and needs. All our wood is regulated, comes from forests in which there is a legal right of exploitation and is subject to compliance with laws, regulations and official documentation regarding its traceability, chain of custody and according to Cites criteria, European Union Timber regulation and EUDR.
